I acknowledge and have deep gratitude to the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh & Musqueam peoples, who are the traditional custodians of this now stolen land upon which I was both born and now thrive. Today, as it has been for thousands of years, this land is the home of Indigenous peoples and I pay my respects to Elders past and present. These field notes are part of a living artifact of my own learning and ongoing connection to place and land of Turtle Island.
