We ordered mushroom grow kits from Grow Mushrooms Canada. I chose Lion’s mane and elm oyster as they’re both recommended for beginner growers.
Technically we’re growing the mushrooms in the kitchen, but I’m categorizing it as “growing in the garden”, as the grow zone extends to our home growing too…
Step 1 today was to cut an X-shaped slit into the plastic and exposure the substrate that’s been in ovulated with the fungi.
Step 2 was adding a humidity tent.
Step 3 over the next while I’ll be keeping an eye out for the fruiting bodies (aka mushrooms) and misting with water as fungi like moisture.
